The American Research Institute for Policy Development Journals
The American Research Institute For Policy Development (ARIPD) is a policy development think tank. It was founded in 1994 with the goal of making sure that America’s democracy remains vital and strong. The ARIPD is based in Washington D.C., but it focuses on national, rather than local issues.
The organization has published both print and electronic journals, giving members an opportunity to publish their views on public policy issues. This allows for discussion among experts about complex social problems without being limited by the concerns of special interest groups or lobbies. Topics have included education reform, financial matters, medical care, environmental protection and international security cooperation.
Some of the most well-known names in government have been involved with the ARIPD since its inception, including former president Bill Clinton and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
The ARIPD’s journals are regarded as important sources of international policy analysis by scholars, business leaders, community organization officials, journalists, elected officials and the general public. They are distributed worldwide to both individuals and institutions. To maintain their independence, subscription costs are subsidized by private foundations.
